Leszek
Leszek ist ein altpolnischer, männlicher Vorname. Er wird oft als Verkleinerungsform von Lech[1][2] bezeichnet. Tatsächlich ist die Etymologie unklar, denn in historischen Quellen taucht Leszek (Lestek) vor Lech auf; zwar ist ein gemeinsamer Stamm möglich, gilt aber als unbelegt.[3] Bis zum 13. Jahrhundert wurde er auch als Lestek geschrieben.[3]
