Helen Beebee
Helen Beebee (* 29. März 1968[1]) ist eine britische Philosophin, die als Professorin für Wissenschaftsphilosophie an der University of Leeds forscht und lehrt.[2] 2023 wurde sie als Fellow (FBA) in die British Academy gewählt.[3]
Beebee studierte an der University of Warwick (Bachelor-Examen), der University of Liverpool (Master) und dem King’s College London (Promotion zur Ph.D.). Bevor sie nach Leeds kam, hatte sie mehrere Lehraufträge an britischen Hochschulen, eine Postdoc-Anstellung an der Australian National University und war Professorin an der University of Birmingham und der University of Manchester. Ihre Forschungen galten hauptsächlich dem Werk David Humes sowie der Rolle von Frauen in der Philosophie.[2]
