Umgeben wird Esnon von den Nachbargemeinden Bussy-en-Othe im Norden und Westen, Bellechaume im Norden und Nordosten, Paroy-en-Othe im Nordosten, Brienon-sur-Armançon im Osten, Ormoy im Süden sowie Migennes im Westen und Südwesten.
