Cossaye ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 652 Einwohnern (Stand: 1. Januar 2023) im Département Nièvre in der Region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Sie gehört zum Arrondissement Nevers und zum Kanton Decize.

Geographie

Cossaye liegt etwa 25 Kilometer nordöstlich von Moulins. Die Gemeinde grenzt im Nordosten an die Loire, parallel dazu verläuft der Canal latéral à la Loire, im Westen das Gebiet vom Fluss Acolin durchquert. Umgeben wird Cossaye von den Nachbargemeinden Decize im Norden, Devay und Charrin im Nordosten, Lamenay-sur-Loire im Osten, Gannay-sur-Loire im Südosten, Lucenay-lès-Aix im Süden, Toury-Lurcy im Westen sowie Saint-Germain-Chassenay im Nordwesten.
