Chirmiri ist eine Stadt (Municipal Corporation) des indischen Bundesstaates Chhattisgarh mit etwa 85.000 Einwohnern (Volkszählung 2011).

Die Stadt befindet sich im Distrikt Koriya. In Chirimiri wird seit 1925 Kohle abgebaut.[2]

Klima

Das Klima in Chirmiri ist warm-gemäßigt. In den Sommermonaten Juni bis September, während der Monsunzeit, fallen die meisten Niederschläge. Der durchschnittliche Jahresniederschlag beträgt 1254 mm. Die Jahresmitteltemperatur liegt bei 24,1 °C.
