Visoravan
Zaravan ili plato (od francuskog, plâteau; na engleskom, plateau)[1] je stručni izraz u geologiji i geografiji koji označava uzvišenu površinu, koja je obično relativno ravna. Zaravni se oblikuju uglavnom za vrijeme tektonskih kretanja, kojom prilikom određena zemljišna površina se podigne pod pritiskom takvih kretanja. Vjetrovi i voda kasnije oblikuju zaravan, doprinoseći njenoj eroziji.
