Titula

Titula je naziv koji ide uz ime određene osobe a kojom se dodatno obilježava status te osobe.[1]

Vrste titula

Titula može biti staleška (političke), naučna i počasna.

Staleške (političke) titule predstavljaju politološki izraz funkcije u državi sa stvarnim značenjem, određenim mjestom i ulogom u hijerarhiji aktivne vlasti (car, kralj, herceg, vojvoda, knez i sl.). Stiče se hijerarhijskom linijom u kojoj je središte i izvor dodjeljivanja najviša titula koja proizvodi niže titule.

Naučne titule predstavljaju zvanja koja se stječu posebnim radovima (tezama, disertacijama, naučnim radovima).

Počasne titule mogu biti i staleške (političke) i naučne.
