Tata Nano

Tata Nano je najjeftiniji nov automobil na svijetu.

Tata Nano je gradski automobil koga je indijska firma Tata Motors lansirala na 9. godišnjoj izložbi Auto Expo 10.1. 2008 u Pragati Maidanu u New Delhiju u Indiji.[1] U Tatinom promotivnom materijalu je označen kao narodni auto, te se predviđa da će biti najjeftiniji masovno proizvođeni automobil na svijetu.[2] Standardna verzija Nanoa (bez klima uređaja, radija ili servovolana) košta 100.000 R (bez poreza i drugih troškova) (US$2500, GB£1277, €1700),[3].[4] Zbog cijene je Nano nazvan auto od jednog lakha (po indijskoj riječi za '100.000').[5]
