Prolimfocit

Prolimfocit je bijelo krvno zrnce s određenim stanjem ćelijske diferencijacije u limfocitopoezi. U 20. stoljeću se vjerovalo da redoslijed općeg sazrijevanje mijenja ćelije iz limfoblasta u prolimfocite, a zatim u limfocite (limfocitni niz),[1], te da je svaki preteča posljednjeg. Danas se vjeruje da diferencijacija ćelija u limfocitnoj liniji nije uvijek jednostavno hronološka, ​​već ovisi o izloženosti u antigenima, tako da, naprimjer, limfociti mogu postati limfoblasti.

Veličina prolimfocita je između 10 i 18 µm.[2]
