Messier 102

Messier 102 (također poznat kao M102) jest galaksija na spisku Messierovog kataloga koja nije nedvosmisleno otkrivena. Njen prvi otkrivač bio je Pierre Méchain, koji je poslije otkrića i zapisa izjavio da je riječ o dvostrukom zapisu objekta Messier 101.[1] Međutim, postoje historički i posmatrački razlozi zašto bi ovo mogao biti NGC 5866,[2] a dodatno je predloženo i nekoliko drugih galaksija.
