Liburna

Liburna je naziv za malu i pokretljivu rimsku galiju. Ime joj dolazi od ilirskog plemena Liburna od kojih su Rimljani preuzeli dizajn.

Liburna je u historiju ušla zahvaljujući uspješnoj primjeni u bitki kod Akcija godine 31. p. n. e. kada je flota Oktavijana Augusta potukla flotu Antonija i Kleopatre opremljene većim, ali slabije pokretljivim galijama.
