CHEOPS (CHaracterising ExOPlanets Satellite) jeste planirani evropski svemirski teleskop za proučavanje formiranja vansolarnih planeta.

Povoljna prilika za lansiranje jeste zadnji kvartal 2019.,[4] a svrha misije je da postavi optički Ritchey–Chrétien teleskop sa otvorom od 30 cm, montiranom na standardnoj maloj satelitskoj platformi, u sunčevoj sinhronoj orbiti na visinu od oko 800 km (500 mi) kilometara. Za planirano vrijeme trajanja misije od 3,5 godine, CHEOPS će istražiti poznate tranzicione vansolarne planete koje kruže oko svijetlih i bliskih zvijezda.[5]

Cijena misije iznosi 50 miliona eura.
