Alseide su bile nimfe dolina i šumaraka u grčkoj mitologiji, (grčki: Ἀλσηΐδες). Od klasičnih pisaca, prvi i možda jedini pjesnik koji spominje Alseide je Homer. Umjesto Alseida koristio je Alsea. Homerove tri upotrebe Alsea su:
"Nimfe koje žive u ljupkim šumarcima (ἄλσεα- alsea), izvorima rijeka (πηγαὶ ποταμῶν - pegai potamon) i travnatim livadama (πίσεα ποιήεντα - pisea poiea)."[1]
"One nimfe dolaze iz izvora (krênai), dolaze iz šumaraka (alsea), dolaze iz svetih rijeka (ποταμοί - potamoi) koje teku prema moru."[2]
„Nimfe [planine Ida] koje proganjaju prijatne šume (alsea), ili one koje naseljavaju ovu divnu planinu (ὄρος - oros), izvore rijeka (pegai potamon) i travnate medovine (pisea).“[3]
