Aktinu srodni protein 3B, znan i kao ARP3-beta je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genomACTR3B.[4]Pseudogeni ovog gena nalaze se na hromosomima 2, 4, 10, 16, 22 i Y-u. Alternativna prerada rezultira višestrukim varijantama transkripta i izoformama proteina.[4]
Funkcija
Ovaj gen kodira člana onih proteina koji su povezani s aktinom (ARP), koji tvore multiproteinske komplekse i dijele 35-55% aminokiselinskog identiteta s konvencijskim aktinom. Protein kojeg kodira ovaj gen može imati regulatornu ulogu u aktinskom citoskeletu i inducirati promjeni oblika i pokretljivosti ćelije.[4]
