«Anthrax» (з англ. — «сібірская язва») — амерыканскі метал-гурт, які грае трэш-метал, спід-метал, а таксама груў-метал (пазней творчасць). Заснаваны ў 1981 годзе ў Нью-Ёрку. Разам з такімі гуртамі, як Slayer, Metallica і Megadeth, Anthrax уваходзіць у «вялікую чацвёрку трэш-метала».

Чатыры студыйныя альбомы гурта (Among The Living, State of Euphoria, Persistance of Time, Sound of White Noise) і зборнік Attack of The Killer B’s станавіліся «залатымі» ў ЗША. Альбомы калектыва прададзены агульным тыражом больш за 20 мільёнаў копій па ўсім свеце. Гурт шэсць разоў намінаваўся на «Грэмі», пяць з іх — у катэгорыі «Лепшае метал-выкананне».
