Sessilia adalah sebuah klad tanpa takson yang mencakup jenis-jenis teritip yang tidak memiliki tangkai, yang dikenal sebagai teritip biji ek. Sessilia membentuk sebuah kelompok monofiletik dan barangkali merupakan derivat dari teritip leher angsa. Sessilia terbagi menjadi dua ordo. Verrucomorpha mencakup dua famili, Verrucidae dan Neoverrucidae, Balanomorpha mencakup 14 famili.
