Robert Rathbun Wilson (4 Maret 1914 – 16 Januari 2000) adalah seorang fisikawan Amerika yang dikenal karena karyanya pada Proyek Manhattan saat Perang Dunia II, sebagai pengukir, dan seorang arsitek dari Laboratorium Akselerartor Nasional Fermi (Fermilab), dimana ia menjadi direktur pertama dari 1967 sampai 1978.

Robert Rathbun Wilson lahir di Frontier, Wyoming, pada 1914,^[1] sebagai putra dari pasangan Platt Elvin dan Edith Elizabeth (Rathbun) Wilson. Ia memiliki seorang kakak yang bernama Mary Jane.^[2] Orangtuanya berpisah ketika ia berusia delapan tahun^[3]
