Puyuh hujan[2] atau puyuh dada-hitam (Coturnix coromandelica) adalah spesies puyuh yang ditemukan di anak benua India dan Asia Tenggara; wilayah sebarannya meliputi Pakistan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Kamboja, dan Vietnam.

Puyuh hujan tidak memiliki pola garis di bulu sayap primernya. Jantannya memiliki corak dada hitam dan pola kepala hitam-putih yang khas. Betinanya sulit dibedakan dengan betina dari puyuh biasa dan puyuh jepang, meski tutul di dadanya lebih halus. Panjangnya 6–6,5 in (15–17 cm) dan berbobot antara 2,25–2,5 oz (64–71 g).[3]
