Coccothrinax barbadensis (latanier, latanier balai)[2] adalah spesies palem yang berasal dari Venezuela, Antillen Kecil, dan Trinidad dan Tobago.[1] Seperti anggota genus Coccothrinax lainnya, C. barbadensis adalah palem kipas. Daunnya banyak digunakan untuk atap jerami.

Spesies ini berasal dari Antigua, Barbados, Barbuda, Dominika, Guadeloupe, Marie Galante, Martinik, Saint Lucia, Trinidad dan Tobago[2] dan Venezuela (termasuk Antillen Venezuela).[1] Henderson dan rekan penulis melaporkan bahwa spesies ini mungkin tersebar di seluruh Antillen Kecil, tetapi telah punah secara lokal di banyak wilayah tersebut.[2]

Pada tahun 2005, George Proctor (dalam Acevedo-Rodríguez & Strong, 2005[3]) menganggap Coccothrinax alta sebagai spesies yang berbeda (berdasarkan batangnya yang lebih pendek dan lebih ramping, jumlah benang sari yang lebih sedikit, dan buah yang jauh lebih kecil), namun Rafaël Govaerts[4] menganggapnya sebagai sinonim dari C. barbadensis.
