Thomas Jonathan Bateman (sinh ngày 15 tháng 3 năm 1989)[1] là nam diễn viên người Anh, nổi tiếng với các vai diễn trong loạt phim truyền hình giả tưởng lịch sử Da Vinci's Demons (2013–2015), và trong phim Án mạng trên chuyến tàu tốc hành Phương Đông (2017)[2] và phần tiếp theo của Án mạng trên sông Nile (2022).

Tiểu sử

Bateman sinh ra ở Oxford, Oxfordshire, trong một gia đình thuộc tầng lớp lao động.[3] Anh có 12 anh chị em, trong đó có một người anh sinh đôi tên là Merlin.[4]

Bateman học kịch nghệ tại Viện Âm nhạc và Nghệ thuật Luân Đôn (LAMDA),[5] nơi anh ấy xuất hiện trong vở hài kịch Có gì đâu mà rộn với Catherine Tate và David Tennant. Sau đó, anh gia nhập công ty của Kenneth Branagh tại Nhà hát Garrick, nơi anh đóng cùng Judi Dench trong vở kịch The Winter's Tale.[4]

Cuộc sống cá nhân
