Podiates (Cavalier-Smith, 2012, không bao gồm Ancyromonadida)[1] là một nhánh được đề xuất bao gồm Amorphea (sinh vật một lông roi) (gồm Opisthokonta (sinh vật lông roi sau), Amoebozoa, các nhóm Apusomonad và Breviatea) cùng với các sinh vật hiện được xếp vào nhóm nhánh CRuMs.[2] Ancyromonadida dường như không phát sinh trong nhóm này.[3][4] Các loài thuộc nhánh này có chân giả (về mặt tiến hóa ban đầu có dạng sợi và được dùng để kiếm ăn ở môi trường đáy[1]), trong khi các nhóm gần gũi như Ancyromonadida và Malawimonad thì không.[5]
