Supermodelo

Ang katagang supermodelo (Ingles: supermodel, super-model,[1][2][3][4][5] super model[6][7][8][9]) ay tumutukoy sa isang modelo pinasasahod ng malaking halaga, na karaniwang may reputasyong pandaigdigan at kadalasang panlikurang palamuti sa haute couture at pagmomodelong kumersiyal. Ang kataga ay naging tanyag sa kulturang popular noong dekada ng 1980.[10] Ang mga supermodelo ay karaniwang naghahanapbuhay para sa pangunahing mga tagapagdisenyo ng moda at mga tatak. Mayroon silang mga kontratang multimilyon sa dolyar, pag-eendorso at mga kampanya. Tinatakan nila ang kanilang mga sarili bilang mga pangalang pamtahanan at pagkilalang pangbuong mundo na kaugnay ng kanilang mga karera sa pagmomodelo.[11][12][13][14] Nailagay sila sa mga pabalat ng sari-saring mga magasin.
