Ang roketa, kilala rin sa tawag na kwitis, kuwitis, pampasibad[1] o kohete (Ingles: rocket, Kastila: cohete) ay isang sasakyan, misil, o salimpapaw  – tinatauhan (nasasakyan ng tao) katulad ng Saturn V; o hindi tinatauhan (hindi kailangang lulanan ng tao) katulad ng Hangin-sa-hanging misil na Phoenix. Tumataas, umaangat, o pumapailanlang ito dahil sa palabas na sikad mula sa makina. Mas malaki ang sikad na ito kaysa bigat ng behikulo kapag inihambing sa timbang nito sa mundo. Hindi nalilimitahan ng kakayanan ng tao ang mga walang taong roketa. Mas mabilis ang pagsibad ng mga roketa kaysa tulin ng tunog (Mach 1) at maaaring umabot sa mga bilis na Mach 5 at maging magpahanggang sa 30'000 km/hr kapag nasa orbito.

Tinatawag din ang roketa bilang pampasibat (may kaugnayan sa sibat), pampa-igkas, o bomba.[1]
