Ang Resuttano (Siciliano: Rastanu) ay isang komuna (munisipalidad) sa Malayang Konsorsiyong Komunal ng Caltanissetta sa Italyanong rehiyon ng Sicilia, na matatagpuan tungkol mga 80 kilometro (50 mi) timog-silangan ng Palermo at mga 20 kilometro (12 mi) hilaga ng Caltanissetta. Noong 31 Disyembre 2004, mayroon itong populasyon na 2,370 at sakop na 38.2 kilometro kuwadrado (14.7 mi kuw).[3]

Ang Resuttano ay may hangganan sa mga sumusunod na munisipyo: Alimena, Blufi, Bompietro, Petralia Sottana, atSanta Caterina Villarmosa.

Kasaysayan

Kastilyo ng Resuttano.

Ang lugar ng Resuttano ay naapektuhan ng mga pamayanang Arabe, na pinatunayan ng pagkakaroon ng isang kastilyo ng mga Arabeng pinagmulan.

Noong 1337 si Federico II d'Aragona (1272 – 1337), hari ng Sicilia, ay huminto sa Kastilyo ng Resuttano upang idikta ang kaniyang kalooban doon na nagdulot ng Digmaan ng Apat na Vicario sa pagitan ng paksiyong Chiaramonte at paksiyong Ventimiglia.[4]
