Si Penthesilea (Griyego: Πενθεσίλεια) o Penthesileia ay isang reynang Amazonian sa mitolohiyang Griyego na anak na babae nina Ares at Otrera[1] at kapatid ni Hippolyta, Antiope at Melanippe. Ayon kay Quintus Smyrnaeus[2], napatay ni Penthesilea si Hippolyta gamit ang isang sibat nang sila ay nangangaso ng usa. Ito ay nagdulot kay Penthesilea ng labis ng pighati na ninais niyang mamatay na lamang. Ngunit bilang isang mandirigma at Amazon, kailangan niya itong gawin ng marangal at sa isang labanan. Dahil dito, madali siyang nahikayat na sumali sa Digmaang Troyano na nakipaglaban sa panig ng mga tagapagtanggol ng Troya.
