Ang irigasyon o patubig (mula sa kastila irrigación) ay ang artipisyal na paglalapat ng tubig sa isang lupain o lupa. Ito ay ginagamit upang tulungan ang paglago ng mga pananim, pagpapanatili ng landscape, at muling behetasyon ng mga nagulong lupa sa mga tuyong lugar na may hindi sapat na pagbagsak ng ulan. Ito ay ginagamit rin sa pagprotekta sa mga halaman laban sa frost [1] pagsugpil ng paglago ng weed sa mga lupain ng pananim[2] at pagtulong sa pagpigil ng konsolidasyon ng lupa.[3]

Salungat sa irigasyon, ang agrikulturang umaasa lamang sa tuwirang pagbuhos ng ulan ay tinatawag na pinapakain ng ulan o pagsasaka ng tuyong lupain. Ang mga sistemang irigasyon ay ginagamit rin sa pagsupil ng alikabok, pagtatapon ng sewage, pagminina.
