OCLC

Ang OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Incorporated d/b/a OCLC[1] ay isang Amerikanong di-kumikitang kooperatibang samahan na "dedikado sa mga layunin ng publiko na paunlarin pa ang pagkuha ng mga kabatiran ng mundo at mapababa ang gastos sa impormasyon."[2] Itinatag ito noong 1967 bilang Ohio College Library Center. Ang OCLC at mga kasapi nitong mga aklatan ay tumutulong na gumawa at panatalihin ang WorldCat, ang pinakamalaking online public access catalog (OPAC) sa buong mundo. Pangunahing pinopondohan ang OCLC sa pamamagitan ng mga fee na dapat bayaran ng mga aklatan para sa mga serbisyo nito (mga $200 milyon kada taon magmula noong 2016).[3] Pinapanatili din ng OCLC ang sistemang Klasipikasyong Desimal ni Dewey.
