Ang National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) ay isang ahensiya ng pamahalaan ng Estados Unidos, na nananagot sa pampublikong programang pangkalawakan ng bansa. Naitatag ang NASA noong 29 Hulyo 1958, sa pamamagitan ng National Aeronautics and Space Act.[7]

Si President Dwight D. Eisenhowerang nagnatag NASA sa 1978[8]. Pinalitan nito ang NACA o National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics. Ang bagong ahensiya ay naging operasyonal sa Oktubre 1, 1958.[9]

Ang kasabihan (motto) ng NASA ay "For the benefit of all" (Tagalog: "Para sa benepisyo ng lahat").

Marso 2021 ang NASA ay sumubok ng isang Rocket Launch para sa misyong Mars sa dekadang 2030's. Noong Abril 2026, matagumpay na nakumpleto ng misyong Artemis II ang halos 10 ka araw na paglalakbay sa paligid ng buwan. Ito ang unang misyon na may sakay na mga astronaut na umikot sa buwan, matapos ang mahigit kalahating siglo[10].
