Mumtaz Mahal

Si Mumtaz Mahal (Persa (Persian): ممتاز محل, nangangahulugang "pinakamamahal na palamuti sa palasyo"; pagbigkas /mumtɑːz mɛhɛl/) ay ang karaniwang palayaw ng Arjumand Banu Begum, na ipinanganak noong Abril 1593 sa Agra, Indiya. Pangalawang asawa siya ni Emperador Shah Jahan I ng Imperyong Mughal at naging paboritong asawa nito. Namatay siya noong 17 Hunyo 1631 sa Burhanpur sa Deccan, Madhya Pradesh ngayon, sa panahon ng kapanakan ng kanyang ika-labing-apat na anak na nagngangalang Shahzadi Gauhara Begum, at nakalibing sa Taj Mahal sa Agra.
