Ang Latera ay isang maliit na bayan at komuna (munisipalidad) sa Lalawigan ng Viterbo, rehiyon ng Lazio, gitnang Italya.

Matatagpuan malapit sa Lawa Bolsena at Lawa Mezzano, mahalaga ito para sa bulkanikong aktibidad sa ilalim ng lupa malapit sa sentro ng bayan. Mayroon itong maliit na bato na may medyebal na palasyo ng pamilya Farnese, na napapalibutan ng mga medyebal na bahay na bato.
