Labuan

Ang Labuan ( /ləˈbuːən/; Jawi : لابوان), Opisyal na tinatawag bilang Federal Territory of Labuan ( Malay : Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, Jawi: ولايه ڤرسكوتوان لابوان ), ay isang Teritoryong Pederal ng Malaysia . Kasama sa teritoryo nito ang Isla ng Labuan at anim na mas maliliit na mga isla, sa baybayin ng estado ng Sabah sa Silangang Malaysia . Ang kabisera ng Labuan ay Victoria at kilalang kilala bilang isang offshore financial center na nag-aalok ng mga serbisyong pang-pinansyal at internasyonal na negosyo sa pamamagitan ng Labuan IBFC mula pa noong 1990 pati na rin ang isang offshore support hub para sa mga aktibidad ng langis at gasolina sa mga malalim na bahagi ng rehiyon. Ito rin ay isang sa mga pangunahing patutunguhan ng mga turista para sa mga taong naglalakbay sa Sabah, malapit sa mga Mga taga-Brunei at mga tagasisid . Ang pangalang Labuan ay nagmula sa salitang Malay na labuhan na nangangahulugang puwerto o daungan.
