Macropus giganteus

Ang kangaroo (Ingles: kangaroo) isang marsupial mula sa pamilya Macropodidae (na nangangahulugang "malaking paa"). Sa karaniwang paggamit ang termino ay ginagamit upang ilarawan ang pinakamalaking species mula sa pamilya, lalo na ng mga genus Macropus. Kanggaro ay katutubo sa Australia.

Ang malaking kanggaro may iniangkop mas mas mahusay kaysa sa mga mas maliit macropods sa lupain ng pag-clear ng pastoral pagbabago ng agrikultura at habitat dinala sa landscape Australyano ng mga tao.
