Ang mga cuckoo ay isang pamilya ng mga ibong kilala bilang Cuculidae. Mayroon silang maliliit na mahahabang mga buntot, kulay kayumanggi, at maikling tukang na nakabaluktot paibaba. Matatagpuan ang mga cuckoo sa halos karamihan sa mga bahagi ng mundo, partikular na sa mga kagubatan. May ilang mga uri ng mga ito ang nangingitlog sa mga pugad ng ibang mga ibon para sa pangangalaga at pagpapakain ng mga sisiw. Hinango ang pangalan nitong cuckoo sa Ingles mula sa pagtawag na pangpagtatalik ng lalaking cuckoo.[1]
