Ang Colombo ay ang pinakamalaking lungsod at ang pangkalakalan (commercial) na kabisera ng Sri Lanka. Matatagpuan ito sa kanlurang bahagi ng pulo at malapit sa Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, ang administratibong kabisera ng Sri Lanka. Mahigit 600,000 katao ang naninirahan dito.[2]
