Ang Codex Vaticanus (The Vatican, Bibl. Vat., Vat. gr. 1209; no. B or 03 Gregory-Aland, δ 1 von Soden) ang isa sa pinakamatandang kopya ng Bibliya at isa sa apat na dakilang uncial na codices. Ito ay tinawag na Vaticanus dahil sa konserbasyon nito sa Aklatang Vaticano mula ika-15 siglo CE. [1] Ito ay nasa 759 dahon ng velium sa mga titik na uncial at pinetsahan sa ika-4 siglo CE..[2][3]

Ang manuskrito ay nalaman ng mga kanularaning iskolar dahil sa pakikipagsulatan ni Erasmus at mga prepekto ng Aklatang Vaticano. Hindi malaman ang ugnayan nito sa Vulgata.Ito ay iba sa teksto ng Textus Receptus.

Kasama ng Codex Sinaiticus, ang Codex Vaticanus ang isa sa pinakamahalagang manuskrito ng Bagong Tipan sa pagtukoy ng pinakamalapit na teksto ng Bagong Tipan. Ito ay nabibilang sa tradisyon ng mga pinakamaaagang manuskrito at mas malapit sa teksto ng mga orihinal na manuskrito na hindi na umiiral.[4] Ito ay ginamit nina Westcott at Hort isa kanilang edisyon ng The New Testament in the Original Greek noong 1881. Ang Codex Vaticanus ay itinuturing na pinakamtandang kopya ng Bibliya.[5]
