Ang chipset ay isang hanay ng mga kasangkapan sa integradong sirikito na nagsisilbing tagapangasiwa ng daloy ng mga datos sa pagitan ng CPU, memorya, at mga peripheral. Batay sa klaseng Pentium na mga microprocessor ng Intel, ang terminong chipset ay kadalasang tumutukoy sa isang spesipikong pares ng mga chip sa motherboard: ang northbridge at southbridge.
