Bremsstrahlung
Ang Bremsstrahlung (Pagbigkas sa Aleman: [ˈbʁɛmsˌʃtʁaːlʊŋ] (
pakinggan), mula bremsen "to brake" and Strahlung "radiation", i.e. "braking radiation" or "deceleration radiation") ay isang radiasyong elektromagnetiko na nalikha ng deselerasyon ng isang may kargang partikulo kapag nadeplekta ng isa pang may kargang partikulo na karaniwan ay isang elektron ng isang nukleyus na atomiko. Ang gumagalaw na partikulo ay nawawalang ng enerhiyang kinetiko na nokokonberte sa isang photon dahil ang ang enerhiya ay nakonserba. Ang terminong ito ay tumutukoy rin sa proseso ng paglikha ng radiasyon. Ang Bremsstrahlung ay may isang tuloy tuloy na spektrum na nagiging mas masidhi at lumilipat tungko sa mas mataas na mga prekwensiya habang ang enerhiya ng na-akselerang partikulo ay tumataas.
