Ang Assoro (Sicilian: Àsaru, Latin: Assorus, Griyego: Assoros) ay isang komuna sa Malayang Konsorsiyong Komunal ng Enna, Sicilia, Katimugang Italya. Ang pook ng bayan ng Assoro ay sumasakop sa lugar ng sinaunang Assorus.[3]
Ang laban na sakupin ang rurok ng Assoro sa panahon ng Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig ay tampok sa kuwento ni Farley Mowat sa kaniyang ginampanan sa digmaan, ang kuwentong And No Birds Sang.
Heograpiyang pisikal
Ang lumang lungsod (mula sa "Ryto" hanggang sa "Piano della Corte") ay umiral mula 1000 BK. hanggang 1000 AD Ang bagong lungsod, na matatagpuan sa bato ng Monte la Stella, mula noong 1169. Sa mga kamakailan-lamang na beses nagkaroon ng pagbabalik sa lumang lungsod (Piano della Corte).
