Sirex — род насекомых из семейства рогохвостов подотряда сидячебрюхих перепончатокрылых. Они впрыскивают яйца с грибковыми эндосимбионтами в древесину. Грибок содержится в микангии, он питает его выделениями и, в свою очередь, переваривает древесину для личинки рогохвоста.
