Pteridopus (лат.) — род клещей из семейства Chyzeriidae. Известно 3 вида.

Описание

Мелкие клещи. Личинка (взрослые стадии неизвестны): отличается от других родов тем, что имеет: щетинки на коксальных полях ног I–III щетинковидные; лапки III-й пары ног каждая с рядом из 11–16 длинных гребенчатых щетинок; голени III каждая с 2 длинными гребенчатыми щетинками; продорсальный склерит от прямоугольного до трапециевидного; продорсальные щетинки ve значительно длиннее, чем расстояние между основаниями щетинок ve и sce. Личиночные хозяева: сверчки Gryllus (Orthoptera: Gryllidae) в Африке; кузнечики Paradrymadusa (Tettigoniidae) в Иране[1].
