Labops (лат.) — род полужесткокрылых из семейства слепняков (Miridae) подсемейства Orthotylinae.

Описание

Клопы относящиеся к этому роду имеют преимущественно тёмную окраску, нередко с рисунком из жёлтых, красных или оранжевых пятен. Глаза расположены на стебельных, что отличает их об близких родов. Кутикула покрыта простыми или чешуевидными щетинками. Надкрылья полностью или почти полностью прикрывают брюшко. Вершина эдеагуса самцов покрыта мелкими игольчатыми шипиками[1].

Экология

Питается преимущественно на злаках и осоковых. В некоторых случаях могут оказывать негативное воздействие на продуктивность сенокосов и пастбищ[1].
