Dexiini (лат.) — триба двукрылых семейства тахин подсемейства Dexiinae.
Описание
Ариста обычно перистая или в коротких волосках[1]. У самок орбитальные щетинки всегда хорошо развиты. Закрыловые бугорки с двумя крепкими щетинками. Щиток у большинства представителей с тремя парами краевых щетинок. Переднегрудь всегда без щетинок. У самцов шестой тергит брюшка отделен от двух следующих тергитов[2].
Образ жизни
Личинки большинства видов — паразиты жуков усачей, пластинчатоусых, долгоносиков и жужелицах. Несколько видов могут паразитировать на гусеницах стеклянниц (Billaea irrorata) и тонкопрядов (Trixa variegata), а также некоторые американские виды развиваются в живущих в почве личинках слепней. Самки откладывают яйца в местах обитания хозяев (на почву или на гниющую древесину), а личинки первого возраста сами разыскивают хозяина[3]. Плодовитость у Dexia rustica до 600 яиц[4].
