Cyclax (лат.) — род морских крабов из семейства Majidae инфраотряда Eubrachyura (Majoidea, Heterotremata). Известно 2 вида. Они обитают в приливной зоне на глубине от 0 до 6 м в Индо-Тихоокеанском регионе[1].
Описание
Карапакс достигает в длину до 46 мм, имеет приблизительно округлую форму и покрыт несколькими бугорками. Край области жабр колючий. Рострум (центральный лобный отросток) состоит из двух коротких шипов, которые составляют лишь около 5-10 % длины остальной части карапакса. Передний глазничный угол снабжён бугорком, а заглазничная лопасть имеет дополнительный дорсальный зуб. Усиковый жгутик отделён от глазницы отростком на базальном сегменте антенны[1].
