Cicadini (лат.) — триба певчих цикад из подсемейства Cicadinae[2].

Описание

Крышечки тимпанальных органов частично закрывают полость тимпана, закруглены спереди, не угловатые; голова, включая глаза, шире основания мезонотума; боковой край переднеспинки не расширенный; передние и задние крылья прозрачные, иногда пятнистые; оперкулумы самца короткие и поперечные; стерниты самца часто частично тонкие[3][2].

Систематика

Состав трибы дискуссионен и часто изменялся даже в XXI веке. Они демонстрируют одни из самых примечательных фенотипов в семействе, причем многие роды обладают поразительными цветовыми узорами и необычными морфологическими особенностями. Эта преимущественно азиатская группа оказалась сложной для таксономистов цикад, отчасти из-за вероятной конвергентной эволюции или утраты этих фенотипов[4].

В широком таксономическом объёме Cicadini с 2010 года включает трибу Psithyristriini в ранге подтрибы Psithyristriina. В самом узком таксономическом объёме триба включает только род Cicada (около 30 видов), а в самом широком составе имела 7 подтриб (Cicadina, Cosmopsaltriina, Dundubiina, Leptopsaltriina, Oncotympanina, Psithyristriina и Tosenina)[2][5][6][7]. Валидность таксона подтверждена в 2018 году в результате ревизии певчих цикад австралийским энтомологом Maxwell Sydney Moulds и его коллегами[2]. В 2021 году классификация была дополнена[4]. В 2025 году род Pomponia рассматривался в отдельной трибе Pomponiini[8].
