Tambo pode referir-se a:

  • Tambo: lugares construídos pelos incas ou quéchuas para parada ou descanso em suas viagens. Invariavelmente, localizavam-se a uma distância aproximada de 20 quilômetros um do outro, em locais onde se encontrava alguma água. Feitos em pedra, cada tambo era formado por salas para armazenagem de alimentos, aposentos etc. Famosos tambos: Ollantaytambo e Tambomachay, próximos a Cusco, no Peru.
