Stuart Beattie (Melbourne, 4 de agosto de 1971)[1] é um cineasta australiano. Seu roteiro para Collateral (2004) lhe rendeu indicações ao BAFTA de Melhor Roteiro Original, ao Satellite Award de Melhor Roteiro Original e ao Saturn Award de Melhor Roteiro.

Beattie nasceu em Melbourne e foi criado em Sydney.[2] Ele frequentou a Knox Grammar School em Sydney, onde sua mãe, Sandra, era professora de línguas; e mais tarde a Universidade Charles Sturt em Bathurst.
