Pinidae é uma subclasse de Equisetopsida sensu lato no sentido usado por Mark W. Chase e James L. Reveal na sua classificação filogenética das plantas terrestres para acompanhar o sistema APG III.[1] Esta subclasse compreeende as coníferas. A subclasse Pinidae equivale à divisão Pinophyta e classe Pinopsida dos tratamentos anteriores. Existem mais de 600 espécies de Pinidae em todo o mundo.[2]
