MMORTS

Um jogo de estratégia em tempo real multijogador massivo online, do inglês massively multiplayer online real-time strategy game (MMORTS), é um tipo de jogo eletrônico projetado para suportar interações em tempo real de milhares de jogadores simultâneos em um mundo virtual. Em geral, estes jogos simulam guerras entre exércitos controlados por diferentes jogadores, além de sistemas de economia que comumente apresentam extração de recursos e a conversão dos mesmos em outros objetos e moedas, como construções, soldados e novas tecnologias, que podem ser usuados para aprimorar seu exército e superar oponentes.[1]

Entre alguns dos MMORTS notáveis estão Eve Online, Saga, Ballerium, WorldAlpha, Beyond Protocol, Shatered Galaxy, Astro Empires, War of Legends e Age of Empires Online.
