Letrozole

Letrozole, vendido sob a marca Femara, entre outras, é um medicamento usado para cancro da mama.[1] Também tem sido usado na infertilidade feminina para provocar a ovulação.[1] Para o cancro da mama, é usado apenas após a menopausa.[2] É tomado por via oral.[1]

Os efeitos secundários comuns incluem colesterol alto, ondas de calor, dor nas articulações e inchaço.[1] Outros efeitos secundários podem incluir infertilidade, cansaço e osteoporose.[1] O uso durante a gravidez pode prejudicar o bebé.[1] É um inibidor da aromatase.[1]
