Dracula orientalis é uma espécie de orquídea epífita de crescimento cespitoso cujo gênero é proximamente relacionado às Masdevallia, parte da subtribo Pleurothallidinae. Esta espécie é originária do nordeste da Colômbia,[1] onde habita florestas úmidas e nebulosas das montanhas.[2]
